The Open Call is organized by:

Eligible to apply are professional dance artists & students with a minimum of 18 years old.

Each applicant confirms that the submitted work is their own and free from third-party rights.

Submissions must be made exclusively via online form. The application form should be filled out correctly and submitted through web page https://www.platformfourteen.com/applynow in English or German.
The deadline is 18.05.2025 (00:00 CET)
Incomplete or late submissions cannot be considered.
The application must be submitted by the artist who choreographed the piece.
The information about the final schedule of the Platform will be sent to the participants no later than 31st of July 2025. The Platform reserves the right to make any amendments in the schedule of the Platform.
One artist can submit multiple pieces. Each piece should be submitted as a separate application.

Works will be selected by a jury appointed by the organizer.
The jury’s decision is final and not subject to appeal.
There is no legal entitlement to participation or presentation.
Selections will be made based on criteria established by the Platform 14 artistic team, considering factors such as style, theme, narrative, and overall program curation.
The Platform will inform the participants via email.
The Platform shall not be held responsible for the results of errors in application form made by the applicant.

By submitting, applicants grant the organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to:

publicly present the submitted work as part of the festival,
use images and video provided in the application process and taken during the Platform for reporting, documentation, and promotion of the festival (print, online, social media).

All other rights remain with the authors.

Applicants warrant that they are the sole authors of the submitted work and that no third-party rights are infringed.
Applicants shall indemnify the organizer from any third-party claims arising from the use of submitted works.
The organizer is not liable for technical problems or loss of data during submission.

Personal data collected in the course of the Open Call will be used exclusively for the selection process and the organization of the event. Details are outlined in our Privacy Policy.
The participant of the Platform has the right to access to their personal data as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restrict processing of the data, the right to data portability, to object to the processing of the data, the right to withdraw consent to the processing of the data at any time but not affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary and lack of consent for its processing in accordance with above stated purposes will result in disqualification of the applicant.
The Platform reserves the right to publish participant’s name, surname, image and general information about the participant as well as the right to place the mentioned above information in advertising and informative materials, such as the Platform’s publications, website and information profiles run by the Platform.

German law applies exclusively.
Legal recourse is excluded.
If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
The act of submitting the application form is equal to Platform 14 participant’s acceptance of the Platform Conditions and Regulations stated here.
Artists are solely responsible for obtaining valid health insurance. The festival and its organizers assume no liability for any injuries, accidents, or damages occurring during participation in the event.
The Platform reserves the right to make any amendments in the Regulations during the Platform and takes an obligation to immediately publish the changed Regulations in the places where the Platform Regulations were published before.
The Platform reserves the right to cancel or discontinue the Platform at any time without providing any explanation.
