Platform 14 is a yearly international festival for dancers and choreographers in Berlin.

Founded in 2020, the festival spans one week at Uferstudios Berlin, bringing together workshops, performances, and shared moments of exchange. Artists explore, collaborate, and expand their visions — while audiences discover the diversity and vitality of dance. We believe the strongest bonds are created by sharing and connecting through movement and community.

  • To celebrate the diversity of dance by presenting artists from different backgrounds, forms, and styles.

  • To provide a safe and inspiring environment for creation, performance, and exchange.

  • To build bridges across Berlin’s dance scene, fostering collaboration and dialogue between styles.

  • To affirm dance as a basic human need, one that evolves with society and has the power to transform.

Platform 14 is an initiative by contemporary dancers Roosa Sofia Nirhamo and Aseel Qupty in collaboration with Fenster zum Osten - shibak sharqi gGmbH.
